in the desert
are tiny voices
the hunters of
nocturnal moments
It’s been a while since my last post – so I hope everyone is well and staying safe and sane during the lockdown. I will be gradually retooling this site to reflect where my life and art practice is at right now, so bear with me!
In the meantime, I was cleaning out my father’s house and found some long-expired polaroid film. Does polaroid film really expire? Yes, in fact it does if you want to take a photograph. It doesn’t though if you want to doodle and glue words on it!
Hi! It’s great to see your work again! Keen to see what you’ll do with a re-tooled site. I hope you’re doing okay in this 2020 wilderness.

Thank you, Lucy! I really appreciate that. Same to you, I hope you are doing okay and staying safe and sane. A sticker of your illustration of T-Rex Rosie the Riveter is on my water bottle and is a student favorite! 🙂

Hi Marcy, I remember cleaning out my parent’s home… not an easy process! I kept way too many things without much value but so many memories attached. I like what you created here. Always wonderful to repurpose! 😃

Thank you, Jill! It was a very long process to clean out my father’s house, there was so so much stuff. It was hard to decide what to keep so I sympathize!

Marcy, it’s so good to see your work pop up! I wondered what had happened to you since you were at UCSD. I’m so glad you’ve gotten back to pairing up your images and poetry once again!

Tom! So good to hear from you! I am well and still at UCSD (in another capacity, but still, the university is a steady employer). I hope you are well too and staying safe and sane during the lockdown.
